Information stored by the site

When you register, CoderHype stores your name or maker handle, email address, and a protected password hash. The site also stores your submissions, uploaded images, and technical server logs. Please do not include sensitive information in a project description.

Public information

Once a project is approved, its author name, description, category, link, and cover image become publicly visible. Your email address and password are not displayed on your public author page.

How information is used

Information is used to operate accounts and dashboards, review and publish projects, and prevent abuse. Essential cookies keep you signed in. The current version does not include advertising trackers. Loading images and visiting external project links may involve third-party websites with their own policies.

Retention and account data

Account information is retained while the account exists. A site administrator can use WordPress tools to export or erase personal data following an account owner’s request. Removing data from published content and backups may take additional time. Server backups currently rotate over approximately seven days.
