TrackVis turns a finished song into a short promo video
A browser editor that pairs a musician's audio and artwork with motion for short social videos.

TJ Mapes had a track and cover art, but still needed a video to tell people about a release. He described that recurring chore when sharing TrackVis in August 2026. The browser tool he built is deliberately narrow: add a song and artwork, choose a layout, then export a short video for social feeds.
An editor for the release-day task
TrackVis draws motion and waveforms from the uploaded track and lets a musician adjust text, branding and format. Its current site targets Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Spotify Canvas, with vertical and square output. Mapes says he wanted to avoid opening a general-purpose video editor for every simple release announcement.
The site stresses that the visuals are composed from the musician's files rather than generated by an AI model. That is a product choice, not a claim that the exported video will outperform other promotion.
What is known about uptake
TrackVis has a public editor and advertises a free first export, so the core workflow is available to try. Mapes' August posts explain the problem and invite musicians to test it, but they do not provide a verified export count, paying-customer figure or campaign results. Those outcomes remain unknown from the available sources.
