A supermarket aisle is a strange place to put a racing game, which is why Fanto's Mega-Mart sticks in the memory. Players push a rocket-powered trolley around a haunted store, chase a shopping list and compare runs with ghosts left by earlier shoppers. The creator entered it in the 2026 Vibe Jam on May 1.

The jam version earned silver

Vibe Jam, whose rules required at least 90% AI-written code, awarded Fanto's Mega-Mart second place and a $10,000 prize. The jam listing identifies e_c_t_o as its creator and describes a Three.js racing game. Its counter showed around 1,400 jam plays when checked for this profile; that is a platform play count, not a verified number of individual players or a measure of the newer release.

The store kept growing

The original game page now sends visitors to Wavedash. There, the developer describes millions of procedurally generated supermarket layouts, five modes, monthly leaderboards and private races. Those are product features and developer claims rather than measured adoption. The visible progression from a short jam entry to a fuller hosted game is the meaningful result beyond its prize: the core shopping-cart idea survived the competition and received more ways to play.
