Dropmagic turns a product link into a Shopify storefront
A Shopify store builder developed with Cursor and Claude Code. Its cofounder reported $120,000 MRR in October 2026; that figure is not independently verified.

Dropmagic addresses the work between choosing something to sell and putting a usable storefront online. A seller imports a product and gets a starting point for a Shopify store, then edits the branding, images and sections before publishing. Its promise is speed, but the merchant still has to decide whether the product, offer and economics make sense.
A store is the starting point, not the sale
The public site shows a visual builder with separate controls for the store, brand kit, AI images, sections and publishing. Examples give prospective customers a way to inspect the output before signing up. This is a narrower proposition than a general website generator: the workflow is organized around selling a product through Shopify.
For a small operator, the useful comparison is the time spent assembling a theme, copying supplier information and preparing a first product page. A generated storefront can shorten that setup. It does not establish demand, validate supplier quality or make advertising profitable. Those remain separate parts of the business.

Experienced builders behind the prompting
Cofounder Loïc Berthelot has described using Cursor and Claude Code to develop Dropmagic. The account collected by Shipped & Paid also identifies him as an experienced software engineer, not a first-time computer user. In October he said he now spent most of his coding time talking to Claude Code.
The company has three cofounders, including a YouTube creator in the e-commerce niche. Their reported acquisition strategy centers on creators and affiliate relationships. That existing route to customers matters when interpreting the result: AI-assisted development was only one part of the launch.

The October claim: $120,000 MRR
On October 6, 2026, Berthelot reported that Dropmagic had reached $120,000 in monthly recurring revenue. This is a founder-reported subscription run rate, not a verified profit statement and not a total for the calendar month of October.
The available evidence makes Dropmagic an interesting case of AI-assisted product development combined with distribution expertise. It does not establish how much remained after advertising, affiliate commissions, infrastructure, model usage and salaries. CoderHype reviewed the public pages for this profile; the screenshots show the marketing site, not an independently completed store launch.

Sources and verification
Financial figures are dated observations and may change. Revenue is not profit. Product screenshots were captured from public pages; developer-provided demonstrations visible within those pages remain attributed to the product.
