Infinite Night
A dark-fantasy survivor game shipped on Steam with Claude Code across design, programming, balance and localization.

Infinite Night is a dark-fantasy survivor game by solo developer SUHO LEE. Players collect weapons, break seal stones and survive boss fights under a red moon. It was released on Steam on April 9, 2026.
The designer kept a separate plan
Lee says he wrote design documents with Claude on the web and passed those documents to Claude Code for implementation. As the project grew, he maintained a CLAUDE.md file and a code map so later work would follow the established structure. The Steam listing says AI assisted design, programming, balance and localization; it also says no AI runs during gameplay.
The developer's account is candid about the parts that resisted automation. He says he spent more than 50 hours playtesting balance himself and reworked the interface because generated code could not judge whether the game felt good or looked coherent.
A launch, followed by patch work
The game made it to a paid Steam release, but Lee described early sales as underwhelming and said they had not covered his Claude costs at that point. He then focused on patches and a possible mobile version. It is a useful release story precisely because a store listing did not automatically solve distribution.
