Laper organizes the script and the work around it
A writing and production workspace developed with Claude Code and Codex. Its October 30, 2026 TrustMRR snapshot showed $52,314 in 30-day revenue.

Laper targets a problem that does not disappear when a model can write dialogue: a screenplay still needs structure, formatting, characters, locations and a workable handoff to production. Its public interface brings those elements into one workspace, with AI assistance attached to the material a writer is developing.
More than a blank chat window
The public demonstration shows a script alongside a navigation system for writing, characters, locations, props and supporting knowledge. The website also describes screenplay formatting, structure visualization and production assets. These are concrete organizational tasks that distinguish a specialist writing application from asking a general chatbot for a scene.
For a writer, the test is continuity. Can a change to a character or location remain understandable throughout the project? Can collaborators work from the same version? The landing page explains the intended workflow, but this listing does not claim that CoderHype has validated a feature-length production inside the application.

A writer-led product, with agents writing code
Founder Zhao Chunxiang describes building Laper with Claude Code and Codex. In an account published in June 2026, he attributed the implementation to those agents and described a rapid release cadence. His partner handles growth. These are founder statements about the process, rather than a code audit.
The distinction matters: the case is not simply that an AI generated a screenplay. AI coding tools were used to build software for people who work with stories. Domain knowledge and product decisions still came from the people behind the application.

Revenue was growing into late October
TrustMRR showed $52,314 in trailing 30-day revenue on October 30, 2026, alongside $48,929 MRR and $194,744 in lifetime receipts. The profile states that revenue is connected through Stripe. It lists a team of two to five people and a bootstrapped business.
The snapshot is evidence of paying demand, not a measure of customer profitability or retention. It is also not a closed October accounting report. We captured the English-language public website and its embedded script demonstration for the three images in this listing.

Financial figures are dated observations and may change. Revenue is not profit. Product screenshots were captured from public pages; developer-provided demonstrations visible within those pages remain attributed to the product.
