Null Range puts a space dogfight inside a stark orange cockpit
A browser-based multiplayer space shooter whose interface won Vibe Jam's art direction prize.

Null Range looks like a flight terminal from a science-fiction film before the ship even launches. A bright orange loadout screen lets players pick a craft, enter a callsign and deploy into a first-person multiplayer space battle. Its maker, Taylor, submitted the game to Vibe Jam in April 2026.
A shooter built around visibility
The live site lists throttle, strafe, boost, lasers and a sonar ping among its controls. Ship upgrades and weapons give a progression layer to the dogfights. The jam entry identifies Three.js and Cursor among the tools used. The result is visually distinctive, though the site still marks some ships and equipment as coming soon; it reads as an evolving game rather than a finished commercial release.
Recognition before scale
The judges gave Null Range the 2026 Vibe Jam Best Art Direction special prize, worth $1,000. Its jam listing displayed a much smaller play count than the biggest entries when this profile was prepared. That makes the award a clearer verified outcome than any claim of mass adoption. The game remains playable on its own site, where the interface and control scheme can be evaluated directly.
