WenWare asks players to guess both a place and a century
A time-travel geography game built around explorable 360-degree historical scenes and two-part guesses.

GeoGuessr asks where you are. WenWare adds a second question: when? Players inspect a panoramic historical scene, then place a pin on a map and choose a year. The game appeared in Vibe Jam 2026 in late April and has since grown into a site with an archive, daily rounds and multiplayer modes.
Turning historical scenes into a guessing game
The public game uses 360-degree views, a map and a timeline to turn generated scenes into puzzles. Its archive groups scenes across ancient, medieval and modern periods. The creator's jam entry lists Three.js; the current site offers daily games, solo play, ranked matches and parties of up to six. Generated imagery makes the time-travel premise possible at this scale, but it also means a scene should not be treated as a documentary reconstruction; the site invites visitors to rate historical accuracy.
A prize and a large play counter
Vibe Jam awarded WenWare third place, worth $5,000, and its Most Played special prize. At the time of this profile, the jam site displayed about 1.018 million plays for the entry. That figure comes from the jam's counter and may include repeat plays; it is not a count of unique users. The game is still being expanded, so its present archive and modes are more informative than the original jam snapshot alone.
